Newsletter Summer 2020
Dear Parents and Students, what a crazy couple of months. I hope you are all safe and happy. I really miss you all! We have lots planned for the future of Bell Street, obviously depending on Covid-19 restrictions as to when these things can happen. I want to guarantee to you all that the upmost important thing is the safety of the children.
Baby Roland was born on 25th May. I am looking forward to you all meeting Rolo soon.
I am so sorry to all the girls who missed on their modern exams due to lockdown. Rather than staying the the Grade that they were ready to take all students will move up to the next Grade. Exams are not compulsory at Bell Street School of Dance; when a child is ready they are invited to take the graded examinations however if they do not wish to they will still move up with their friends.
When we are back we will be working towards Dance Badges, these badges are earned throughout class and are assessed in-house.
We will be updating our Covid-19 page on our website to update all parents with our new regulations, including hand sanitizer stations, staggered class times, no parents in the building and cleaning in between classes.
Due to Covid-19 our timetable is changing, we will keep you all up to date.
Unfortunately all upcoming events including Wyke Fete, Shaftesbury & Gillingham Carnival and our annual Show have been cancelled.
Exciting news, I am looking into hiring new premises in Semley which is a lovely space and has nice floor.
Have a lovely summer holiday, keep practicing and stretching. If you have not completed your home booklets give them a go. All current students will also receive a summer holiday pack soon.
Lots of Love
